The app
Ambient collects nothing. It has no accounts, makes no network requests and sends no telemetry. Agent events travel over a private Unix socket on your Mac and stay there.
Download counts
We count downloads so we know how many people try Ambient and which launch posts they came from. Each download adds one anonymous record: the date, the version, the ref tag of the link you followed (or the site that linked to the download) and your country. It holds no IP address, no cookie and nothing that identifies you.
Update emails
Downloading Ambient doesn't ask for anything. After the download starts you can leave your email address to hear when a new version ships. We use it only to tell you about Ambient — new versions and new features. We don't sell or share it. If you arrived from a link with a ref tag, such as one in a launch post, we store that tag with your address so we know which posts people found useful.
The form is stored with Netlify, which hosts this site. Netlify may log standard request information, such as IP addresses, to operate and secure the site.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your details, email vivek.yadav@stringswaytech.com or reply to any email from us, and we'll do it. Every email we send includes a way to stop receiving them.
